How to measure
Lay a tee you already own flat. Length runs collar seam to hem. Width is armpit to armpit. Sleeve goes shoulder seam to cuff. Match those to the chart. Between two sizes, size up for room.
Care
Machine wash cold, max 30°C / 86°F. Non-chlorine bleach only when needed. Tumble dry low. Do not iron. Do not dry-clean.
Good to know
Specially spun fibres create a strong, smooth surface that prints clean. Cut tubular-knit in one piece with no side seams, it holds its shape and cuts fabric waste. The ribbed collar is seamless and highly elastic, keeping its shape wash after wash. Twill tape over the shoulder seams stabilizes the back and prevents stretching. Printed Direct-to-Garment on 5.3 oz 100% US cotton, true black. Ethically grown cotton under the US Cotton Trust Protocol, Oeko-Tex certified.
The cowboy on the bomb was supposed to be Peter Sellers. He was already playing three parts in Dr. Strangelove, he was struggling with the Texan accent for Major T. J. "King" Kong, and then he sprained his ankle. John Wayne was offered the role and never answered. Kubrick cast Slim Pickens, a former rodeo performer who was reportedly never told the film was a comedy, and he played it straight. The result, released in January 1964, is a B-52 commander riding a bomb like a bronco and waving his hat. For people who learned to stop worrying and kept the hat.
A Dr. Strangelove graphic tee for Kubrick fans, Cold War history buffs, and anyone who likes their satire pitch black. A grinning pilot in a flight suit and harness rides a bomb with his cowboy hat raised high, against a round sky of clouds over mountains, with DR. STRANGELOVE lettered below. A gift for film students, cinephiles, history teachers, and the friend who quotes the War Room.
